Schedule Change

May 16, 2012 by Steve Hanson

Due to illnesses on the part of presenters, we have had to rearrange the schedule slightly. The Journalism for Bloggers session has been cancelled, and replaced with an additional showing of We Are Wisconsin - The Film.

The bloggers panel has been cancelled and replaced with an informal session on web techonology lead by Steve Hanson.

Sorry fot any inconvenience this may cause, but some of our participants have had to cancel their appearance at the conference.

Pre-Registration

May 8, 2012 by Steve Hanson

We would greatly appreciate it if you would pre-register for the conference by using the Register for Netroots Wis 2012 link above.  This will help greatly both with planning for the day and with helping to pay for the conference.  You will also then not need to stand in line to register on the day of the conference.

Also - please note  that we will stop selling full registrations (with meals) at the end of the day on Tuesday, May 15, since we will need to get numbers to the conference center for food.  We willl continue to sell $10 non-food admissions on-line through Thursday night, at FightingBobFest North on Saturday, and at the door on Sunday, May 20.

Thank you!

Special no-food conference rate

May 8, 2012 by Steve Hanson

We've had some concerns from people who would like to attend just one part of the conference, and who will not be able to be there for lunch.  We've now set up a special rate for the conference that does not include breakfast or lunch.  This may be particularly helpful for those who would like to attend, for example, just the afternoon sand-mining session, or would like to just attend the two film screenings in the afternoon.  You may now register for just $10, which will allow you to attend, but not have any food at the conference.  Late registrations will only be eligible for that rate.  We hope this will make it possible for more people to attend.

It's Coming

March 14, 2012 by Steve Hanson

Sorry that progress here has been slow --- life has been completely nuts in Wisconsin recently. Netroots Wisconsin is at least in part about working together to take back our state, and to find strategic ways to do so.   Recent events make it clear that we need to keep plugging away.

That being said, I have made myself a promise that by next week the site will have:

1.  More information on the conference.

2.  Information on sponsorships and a way to sign up for sponsorships.

3.  Better linkage to other social media.

4.  A way for people to propose panels and sessions.
